Deploy the agent via Intune

With Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager), publish the agent as an application to deploy to your managed devices.

1. Get the MSI​

Download your organization's MSI (see Install the agent). It already embeds your tenant's configuration.

2. Add the app in Intune​

  1. In the Intune admin center: Apps > Windows > Add.
  2. App type: Line-of-business app for a simple MSI. (For more control, you can package it as .intunewin using the Win32 content prep tool.)
  3. Select the MSI file and fill in the information (publisher, description).

3. Assign​

Assign the app to a device group ("Required" assignment for automatic installation). Intune installs the agent on the group's devices.

4. Verify​

Track the installation status in Intune, and check that the devices appear in your LongLife fleet. Test on a small pilot group first.

Silent install

For an MSI, Intune handles the silent install. If you package as Win32, use the command msiexec /i LongLifeAgent.msi /qn.
